Agave xylonacantha 'Saw Leaf'
A basal leaf rosette of up to 5' in diameter. At maturity, leaves can grow up to 3' long and 3" across. They end in apical spines with an approximate length of 1 1/2 - 2". The Agave's leaves are fringed with 1/2 inch, broad peripheral spines (sometimes over 1" across). This gives the edges an undulating appearance. Flowers are 1 1/2 inches in diameter with greenish petals. They grow off of a spike that can reach heights of over 11'.
