Aloe dichotoma 'Quiver Tree'
Aloe dichotoma 'Quiver Tree' is named for its distinctive forked branching pattern. More specifically, its name is derived from the Greek word, "dichotomia," meaning "a cutting in two." Additionally, branches from this tree are used for arrows, giving it its common name "Quiver Tree."
At full maturity, this tree Aloe can reach heights of 27'. The trunk is stout with pale, flaking bark and a dense, rounded crown. Its greyish leaves are approximately 1' long. They are typically narrow, with small teeth along the margins.
Flowers are bright yellow, tubular and approximately 1" long. Stamens are orange and protrude from the mouth.
