All-Spice

Description:

A small tree to 40 feet tall, with oblong feathery, aromatic leaves to 8 inches long, followed by clusters of small green to brown pleasantly spicy 1 cm pea-sized berries. These are picked green and dried and called "All-spice" because they seem to have the combined flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, and are used for seasoning of food.
