Latin Name: Oreocerus trolli
Description:

A low-growing columnar plant branching from the base. The pale green stems are 2-3 inches thick, with 15 or more notched ribs. Areoles are set about .75 in. apartwith a mass of white or grayish-white woolly hairs around the stem. The spines are yellow, reddish, or brown, made up of 10-15 radials, and one or more centrals, all varying in size.
