Description: 

Native to Mexico. trunkless rosette similar to A. americana, but more imposing and beautifully colored silvery-gray or bluish-gray. Leaves are rough, up to 8 feet long and 10 inches wide, blackish marginal hook spines. Inflorescence up to 36 feet high.
