Ferocactus wislizenii
Description:
Native to far West Texas around El Paso and westward to southern Arizona. Robust globe when young, becoming cylindric, matte grayish-green with 13-25 thick, notched ribs with woolly tufts and clusters of thin but hard curving spines crimson to gray.
