Bitter Aloe
Description:
Known in the first century to Dioscorides. Greek herbal describes it then as having healing values. Forms large rosette to 25 inches tall or thick,fleshy,green leaves, initially mottled. Toothed at the margins with tall spikes with pendant, inflated tubular flowers.
